So, what do you think?
I finished it a few days ago, and I haven’t taken it off since!
The shawl is an asymmetrical construction, and the colours really shine.

I added some tassles with the tiny bit of left-over yarn I had, it was just serendipitous that they happened to match the endpoints perfectly.
And do you know what the best thing is? The Scheepjes Wanderlust is 100% acrylic, so aside from being crazy soft, it doesn’t need blocking!
Next week I’ll have the pattern ready for you, so in preparation, pop over to either your favourite Scheepjes Retailer, or Wool Warehouse* and grab yourself 3 balls in your favourite colourway so you’ll be ready to crack on!
Which brings me to the giveaway. Together with Scheepjes, I’m giving you the chance to win three balls of Wanderlust in your favourite colourway so you can make this shawl!
All you have to do is comment below with the one place in the world that your wanderlust is dying to take you, along with your favourite colourway.
Thanks everyone for your entries, this giveaway is now closed.

I would love to visit Kyoto in Japan when the cherry blossom is out,it looks divine then and would be a dream come true for me. The colour that I’d love to work your gorgeous shawl in is Hirosaki ,but I love Berlin also. I would have to make one of each.
Oh, I love that, I really love Scheepjes wool!
What a beautiful shawl! Wanderlust would take me back to Skagway Alaska which is my favourite place in the world. The shawl would keep me lovely & warm in the colours you have chosen as they are gorgeous.

Lovely shawl, MissNeriss! And my wanderlust would take me to a place with beautiful nature like Shetland or the Outer Hebrides. A shawl made of “Rudesheim” would be very useful! 🙂
My wanderlust would take me to Alaska. Mountains are my happy place! I think the colours of Zanzibar would be perfect. I’ve not tried this yarn so I’m really looking forward to it. 🙂 Thank you – such a pretty shawl – can’t wait to make it!
Russia and the Baltics. Beautiful architecture and scenery. I love vibrant. colours and although St Petersburg may seem an obvious choice i adore the colours of Bangkok.
If my wanderlust could take me anywhere in the world it would be Switzerland. I would take my camera and my hiking shoes and would just go into the mountains. I love the mountains. It’s my second home. I’ve been to Switzerland once when I was one years old, but of course I can’t remember. I love the Chicago colourway and I can see myself sitting in the mountains crocheting a shawl like this.
Have a nice monday.
Sweet greetings,
Emily

Could crochet on the plane. Hehe
I would love to go to Italy with my husband. We’d stay in b&bs and travel by public transport, get lost off the beaten track, watch the early morning sunrises, take day trips by bicycle.
Unfortunately my 4 small children wouldn’t approve, so I’ll just have to wait until we’re old and crumbly, and do it by air-conditioned bus!
I’d love the Zanzibar colour way please. X
Those colours look amazing! My wanderlust would take me around the Greek islands, and if I won I’d love to have the yarn you’ve used – my little one would love those colours in a cardigan
My wanderlust will lead me to New York (love the New York yarn!) someday! it’s been my wish to go there for as long as I remember and i’m planning on combining the trip with meeting up with a friend whom i haven’t seen in over 20 years! (she lives just outside New York)
My wanderlust has always called me towards the rolling hills of Ireland. My fathers family’s homeland. ❤ 461 is my favorite, the rich, the tones are rich and warm like the colors I would imagine in a beautiful tapestry hung above stone and wood fireplace.
I have always been drawn to the beauty of New Zealand and would be over the moon to see it someday. Until then I believe the beautiful color way of Las Vegas color way will have to keep me dreaming.
It would take me to Prague. I so much love the color of that ball of yarn.
